Launch of MANA (Memory, Appointment and Navigation Agent) Calendar
A virtual reality tool, developed by the Medical Device Partnering Program with input from Alzheimer’s Australia SA , is coming to the aid of older people with early onset dementia, improving their quality of life while giving their carers a little peace of mind.

MDPP & SA Centre for Innovation Networking Breakfast
MDPP & SA Centre for Innovation recently held a free networking breakfast for industry contacts.
We had great attendance with approx. 60 people from a variety of backgrounds including representatives from companies, government departments, research, service providers and university contacts.
The response to the event was very positive and we would like to thank all those who attended and also those who provided feedback. We are working to incorporate all the suggestions put forward regarding future events, so watch this space for upcoming events!
The MDPP would also like to thank the SA Centre for Innovation for their contributions to the event.

Flinders Medical Devices & Technologies awarded funds from the Premier's Science & Research Fund
Flinders Medical Devices & Technologies was one of only seven awarded a Premier's Science & Research Fund grant. The project, valued at $3.3 million, is to establish the Medical Device Partnering Program (MDPP), which will accelerate the development of new medical devices in South Australia.
