MedTech Ventures Case Manager

Exciting opportunity to work with MedTech start-ups and grow Australia’s sector!

Join an expanding team at Flinders University, focused on early-stage development of new medical devices. In this role you’ll be working with new ventures from across Australia, connecting them with the right research expertise, mentoring them as they develop their commercialisation strategies and supporting their applications to the $22.3 million Biomedical Translation Bridge Program. You’ll be working along like-minded colleagues committed to growing Australia’s medtech sector, who value innovation and have exceptional capabilities in research, commercialisation and partnership.

The Biomedical Translation Bridge Program (BTB) is a $22.3 million initiative supported by federal government, nurturing early stage health and medical research ventures to reach proof-of-concept. The Program is delivered through a partnership between MTPConnect, BioCurate, UniQuest and the Medical Device Partnering Program of Flinders University.

Under generally unguided supervision, the MedTech Ventures Case Manager will lead all aspects of Flinders University’s involvement in BTB and contribute more broadly to the growth of the medical devices agenda across Australia. They will support BTB applicants and MedTech ventures from initial enquiry right through to completion of funded projects and ongoing monitoring and support. The MedTech Ventures Case Manager will be a key facilitator of early stage medical device research collaborations across Australia.
